IT Governance releases GDPR e-learning game based on key GDPR concepts and real-life scenarios

IT Governance, the leading provider of cyber security, privacy and risk management solutions and training , has released an e-learning game that tests learners’ understanding of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance concepts and data processing requirements. The game, GDPR Challenge, uses real-life scenarios to help organisations test their employees’ knowledge and identify areas for improvement.

The GDPR Challenge E-learning Game is a fast and efficient game designed to help staff refresh and strengthen their GDPR knowledge. It provides them with an interactive platform to learn about the Regulation while competing against other colleagues to reach the highest score.

Players are presented with a range of scenarios and must answer questions on processing data in compliance with the GDPR. The game aims to educate staff about sharing personal data within the company, managing consent and potential challenges with it, handling data subject access requests (DSARs), and managing personal data erasure and access permissions challenges.

The game can be integrated into existing privacy awareness programmes. Organisations can also customise the game to support their business and brand objectives, and track results via the IT Governance learning management system.
